As of May 2023, the National Student Clearinghouse published their annual Current Term Enrollment Estimates, painting a bleak picture of the state of college enrollment across the nation. Public two-year enrollments dropped 10.1% over the preceding year in 2021, 8.2% in 2022, and rose 0.5% in 2023, respectively.
