Dr. Benjamin Justice

Dr. Benjamin Justice is Professor of Education and History at Rutgers University and Senior Research Scholar at Yale Law School, where he is a member of the Justice Collaboratory. Dr. Justice has won numerous awards and recognition for his scholarship, teaching, and service, and is a past president of the History of Education Society. His scholarship in the field of education engages a wide range of disciplines and perspectives—history, philosophy, social science, popular culture, and law. His current work explores the relationship between criminal legal processing and education. Before becoming a professor, Dr. Justice was a public high school Social Studies teacher.
