Gavin Rozzi is the Research Computing Specialist at the Rutgers Urban & Civic Informatics Lab (RUCI) and teaches within the Master of Public Informatics (MPI) graduate program at the Bloustein School. He holds an M.S. in Data Science and Strategic Analytics as well as a B.A. in Political Science from Stockton University.

A data scientist and public policy researcher, Gavin seeks to find new and innovative technologies and apply them to some of the state’s most pressing public problems. Gavin’s work has centered on practical applications of urban informatics, including leveraging open-source datasets and informatics tools to evaluate public policy in New Jersey and elsewhere. He has also provided consulting, advisory services and expert witness testimony to businesses, organizations, and individuals.
