Dr. Vandeen Campbell

Vandeen Campbell is an Assistant Research Professor and Senior Quantitative Director at the Joseph C. Cornwall Center for Metropolitan Studies and the Department of Urban Education at Rutgers University – Newark. With a focus on equitable educational outcomes for youth in struggling schools, Campbell’s research interests include school improvement, dual enrollment, college access and success, and parental engagement. Her current research focuses on producing a series of studies on New Jersey’s schools, examining the high school experience; potholes in transition from eighth grade through college; and identifying opportunities for increasing equity in outcomes.
