Jordyn Roy
Summer Intern
Jordyn Roy is an undergraduate junior at Rutgers-New Brunswick, double majoring in Political Science and Public Policy in the School of Arts and Sciences and the Edward J. Bloustein School. Her research interests include the policymaking process at both the federal and state levels. In the future, she hopes to play a role in creating equitable and inclusive policies that address systemic issues in marginalized communities. This summer at the New Jersey State Policy Lab, Jordyn aims to research the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and remote learning on the quality of education for K-12 students with disabilities to determine optimal policies to address learning loss. After obtaining her Bachelor’s degrees, she aspires to pursue a law or master’s degree.
