The New Jersey State Policy Lab will be hosting the exhibitor learning session, “Supporting Local Government Through Policy Research,” at the 2024 New Jersey League of Municipalities (NJLM) Conference on Wednesday, November 20th from 1:00-1:50pm. The seminar will be held in Event Room 409 at the Atlantic City Convention Center. NJSPL Executive Director Elizabeth Cooner will be moderating the panel.

New Jersey State Policy Lab researchers including Pengju Zhang, Robyn Ince, Marilyn Rubin, and Amanda Jaeger will be discussing their findings on a range of state policy topics including:

  • Utilizing the American Rescue Plan Act funds at the local level
  • Re-engaging youth in higher education
  • Improving STEM outcomes in K-12 public schools
  • Advancing equity in public service operations and assessments

Additionally, the Policy Lab will be attending the NJLM Conference from November 19-21, 2024 as an exhibitor, located at Booth #2528. Attendees are welcome to stop by the booth and learn more about the New Jersey State Policy Lab’s mission in assisting the state and its communities in the design, implementation, and evaluation of policies and programs through rigorous, evidence-based research.
